Chapter 7: Fund Development

So now you have an organization, a mission, a grant making structure, and eager teen philanthropists.  How do you develop your funding base, so that your grants can be meaningful and your program can achieve its goals? There are many strategies of fund development, this chapter examines a few of them.

Local philanthropists and institutional sponsors can be a valuable source of funds for your program.  They can also give a program guidance and function as a source of credibility within the community.
